Due to the Covid-19 Virus lockdown there are no meetings taking place in the hall at the present time. We plan to re-open in September for existing regular bookings only, providing the Government distance guidance can be observed. Private hire and dance groups will hopefully be able to commence in January providing the Government can give the go ahead. We want to provide a safe environment to all users.
UPDATE 20th June
The Trustees are working with guidance and information from ACRE, the Action with Communities in rural England and the Community Buildings Advisor for Bedfordshire in order to ensure Covid-19 safety measures are in place when the hall eventually re-opens.
Leaders of pre-covid groups that previously met in the hall will be receiving a questionnaire soon.

HALL CAR PARK
Trustees have now decided on a Bedfordshire based company to carry out the work on the Car Park, it is to be one of the largest projects the hall has undertaken since it was built. The Car Park will have a new drainage system, new surface with marked bays and additional lighting at the entranceway. Work will commence during the lockdown period. The car park will be closed while work is being carried out.

New modern doors have been fitted to the building, a double door to the car park entrance and a single one to the Committee room. The thermal insulation will help keep heat in during the winter months and cool in the hot summer months. David Hill 7/06/20
Two new appointments have been made, Steve Riddell will take over the role of Secretary and Laura Ellaway will take on the role of Treasurer. Currently Vince O'Brien has occupied both these positions. The appointments will officially be made at the Halls AGM in October. During the summer months Vince will be showing the new occupants 'the ropes'. After many years of service to the hall he will be retiring later in the year.
