The Trustees welcome the return of visitors to the hall with an air of caution. Covid has not gone away and the safety of our users is paramount.
A considerable amount of work has been going on while the hall has been closed. We have resurfaced our car park and are shortly to have the tiles replaced around the main hall floor as well as in the Foyer area.
This will mean that the official date for return is the 23rd of August.
FROM THIS DATE THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY
WEARING OF MASKS
The wearing of masks is no longer a requirement according to the Government. With the rise of the Delta variant and the decision to manage risk left to the individual we would advise caution on the removal of masks, but the decision for this is left to the individual.
Floor markings have been removed but social distancing is encouraged.
We will continue with some of the windows slightly open in the summer and the winter months. The heating will be on as well in the cold weather.
We request that users wipe down the chairs and tables that they use at the end of each session.
We will be upping numbers to where they were before the Covid outbreak, when hiring, the calculation should include, support staff, disco, and catering. Be aware of limited car parking. If you wish to check the numbers allowed in the hall for a particular event please contact our Booking Secretary Julie Cawthorne on 0759 8125775.
USE OF KITCHEN
Our kitchen is now available to users, 2 people with a maximum of 3 are allowed at any one time.
The existing sanitiser units will remain in place.
The QR code and some of the other posters will remain in place.
We will carry out frequent cleaning of regularly touched surfaces.
WE WILL MONITOR THE UPDATES GIVEN BY GOVERNMENT
